Hello,
Id like to see how many people here have convergence/divergence issues (apart from those that already have been tested and are doing therapy).
There is a simple test, and if you could perform it and write here what the result was, it would be great:
-Take a simple string, cable or anything of that sort (if it has texture its better) thats approximately 1m long and anchor one end of it somerwhere at a height slightly below your eye level. Grab the other end and hold it to your nose between your eyes.
-Focus somewhere on the string, in the middle distance from you to the anchor point for example. Since youre looking with both eyes, you should see two strings and they will cross approximately where youre focusing.
-Is the point where it crosses exactly where youre focusing? Is it beyond, or closer than the crossing?
-If yes, what happens if you try to align your focus point with where the string crosses? Does it hurt your eye muscles and head, or just move again?
-Try also following the line with your eyes from your nose to the anchor point. Does it always align where youre looking (focusing) with where the string is crossing?
If it doesnt align, you have convergence/divergence issues. Please let me know.
