Recently I bought an Eizo Coloredge CG243W (CCFL backlit professional screen). Unfortunately it has PWM which I do not like too much.
I do some photography at the side and was looking forward to having a color calibrated screen without issues (color calibration always made my screen dither more and it was unusable for me).
I thought that hardware calibration would be the solution to this but it seems that my Windows system turned on dithering nevertheless and the setup became unusable.
I will try to get an NVidia system and try again.
Also, it seems that the screen uses FRC or some internal dithering in order to display correct colors. Not sure if there are actually native 10bit panels.
