Video I did a while back

https://youtu.be/CFjOLLpW46U

Had this monitor for three years, at 100% brightness no PWM but high pitched buzzing 🙁 Unfortunately some days I can't handle the 100% brightness so I'm looking for a new 27in monitor that doesn't use PWM at all if possible (and the BenQ flicker free has some image ghosting I heard)

Filmed with CanonT5i at 720p@60fps using manual mode (allows shutter speed control). Seems slower shutter speed makes the PWM easier to spot (darker bars and all that)

A embed media extension got created.. Let's see how it works..

Not too bad!

I have a decent camera. What are the best settings do you think for spotting PWM? Thanks.

degen Slowest shutter speed possible, manual exposure, what camera?

Bah I just use a slow enough shutter speed, works 100% of the time (unless it's very high frequency around 2Khz, at what point it wouldn't affect you anyway),

Spoiler of new video I filmed at best buy (MacBookPro 15in 2015 and iMac fine, bunch of shitty PC laptops with flicker 😛)
