Intellij Idea 2019.2

Is anybody have any eye related issues with last version of Intellij Idea 2019.2 or with any derived product?
Actually I've used Idea for ages, but can't switch to last version cause of eye problem (mostly focusing) regardles of importing all options from previous one (2019.1.3) and switching to jdk runtime used in previous versions?

Last good version for me:
2019.1.3 Community Edition for Linux (bundled jdk 8)

Non-good:
2019.2.1 Community Edition for Linux (bundled jdk 8)

kammerer Using default font rendering settings? If so this might be a long shot but I might have some ideas.

JTL Seems yes, but what exact IDEA option do you mean?

kammerer First screenshot is of "Edit Custom VM Options" menu settings. It changes the font rendering settings of the Java VM in use. Change the useSystemAAFontSetting to gasp as shown.

Second screenshot is of IntelliJ settings->Appearance

Thank for help. But actually suggested solution doesn't work for me(

But after some investigation I found that IDEA 2019.2 with JDK 11 runtime (default one from 2019.2) doesn't cause me any discomfort. But it's actually require me to update OS to smth newer than Ubuntu 14.04

Working version is Idea 2019.2.3 Community Edition for Linux with bundled JDK 11 runtime (default one). Default options. Tested on MX Linux 19 RC. Bad version mentioned in header.
