Hi, I bring Here a YouTube video explaining how to completely get rid, apparently, of dithering on Windows machines.

Pay attention at the end of the video where is explains the importance of the realese number of your Windows 7/8/10, because it seems Windows mess up things even more about dithering as it is more close to the present day.

I didn't tried it. Hope some Nvidia users can try it, telling to us the version of their windows.

This is probably the user "Enterprise24" at the Nvidia forums. In another thread he claims the registry entries work reliably only in Windows 7 and Windows 10 Build 1607. He says all later versions lose the tweak upon reboot, display power off, and what not. He doesn't know about Windows 8 - Windows 10. He says he is using Windows 10 2016 LTSB and sticks to it not to lose the tweaks. So there is a good chance the tweaks work on Windows 10 2015 LTSB, too. I tried to turn dithering off with a card thats not-so-good (MSI GeForce GT 710 1GB DDR3), but didn't notice any difference in eye comfort yet.

This is the original thread where the user "Guzz" discovered and lists the registry tweaks: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/discover/288245/is-it-possible-to-quot-port-quot-dithering-from-nvidia-x-server-to-geforce-driver-/#5934577
