Cirrus2709 I don't have a comfortable phone. The only device I'm comfortable with and can use for hours is the Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021) running FireOS 7, which is based on Android 9.

I have the Zenfone 5z in a drawer that I'm unable to use. I've tried numerous things to get it comfortable, but for me it's still unusable.
I'd like to enter the giveaway. Thanks!
Business-Eyes oxygenOS 14 kills my eyes while 13 is usable.
GregAtkinson I would but unfortunately I need to shop on Amazon, somewhere with a no hassle and free return policy, as it is 100% a gamble whether or not it will suite me.
GregAtkinson is the 27MQ450-B and the 27MP450-B the same monitor? I noticed you have the latter in your eBay listing pictures. I'm looking to order one from Amazon if so. I'm in dire need of a comfortable modern display device.
Sounds like you're experiencing Candida overgrowth which feeds on sugar and carbs, being why certain foods make your symptoms worse. I would look into that and maybe try a Candida diet and see how your symptoms persist. I know for me that's when all my eye problems started, after some rounds of anti-biotics and steroids which kill all bacteria, even good, thus creating an environment for the opportunistic Candida to take over. Everyone has Candida, but it should be in-balance with your good bacteria or it will take over and cause many issues. (Do your own research / Not medical advice)
George357 thanks for the dedication. I will try with Windows tomorrow. As for Android, I don't think my issues are solely text related, so it's no big deal. I alone don't want to take any more of your time unless there's several people here interested. Plus I don't have a compatible device atm but possibly in the future.
@Vividblu99 I ordered and tried a Realme 9 Pro and it's up there with the worst devices I've tried. It feels similar to symptoms dithering gives me which is not just eye strain. Not sure why it's so bad for me, but it's going back.
EyeDiscomfortCertificate just tried and it was uncomfortable for me.
I'm looking for other options as Windows 2015 LTSB isn't cutting it for me. Anyone recommend a comfortable distro I should try?
Brendan970 iPhone 11 is terrible for me on any iOS. It supposedly uses Temporal Dithering. Even the iPhone 8 Plus gives me issues, though it’s on iOS 16.
Any usable TVs that are at least 1080p and around 40-43 inches?
I've tried OnePlus 9 (pwm, but other users here have said it didn't bother them), Poco X4 GT, OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite, iPhone 11 and iPhone 8 Plus (iOS 16) in the past couple months and none of them resonate well with me. I'm still without a comfortable device to use.
Business-Eyes already on those settings with no luck. Which OOS are you using? I’m on 13
Business-Eyes any certain settings or screen protector you’re using on your OnePlus 9?
