  • How do you rate the KIA Ceed/XCeed virtual cockpit? Does anyone have any experience? Because the analog dash obviously flickering PWM (noticed it on youtube videos).

I would also like to ask if you have tested the LCD displays of any other models, e.g. G95 or mirrorless cameras from Canon?

The Opple Light Master III is coming to me soon, so when I have the chance I'll test everything I have at hand 🙂

It would be very good to know if individual brand models share displays with each other - e.g. mentioned Sony A7 IV and RX100 VII. Because if so, then the experiences mentioned above are mutually exclusive.

I would also like to add that I also tested the Panasonic G100 and its display is also very straining on the eyes. I assume that rather older models will use displays that are not yet "tuned" and are therefore more pleasing to the eyes (my experience Nikon D7200 vs all mirrorless Z series).

So in short it means that there is currently no "usable" phone with min. SD 695...

Thus, a Notebookcheck review of the HTC Desire 22 Pro was published (, which does not have PWM, but on the other hand (probably) will not have support either.

    • Rui How are you satisfied with the Xiaomi Mi 13 display after a few days of use? Is it comfortable for the eyes or did you return/sell the phone?

    • I noticed that the Oneplus Nord 3 CE Lite, which is actually the Realme 10 Pro, should be available in April in EU e-shops. Even though, I already bought the Realme 9 Pro, I have high hopes for it this could be a usable and affordable phone for us sensitive users. If anyone has experience, please, let them write.

      • Vividblu99 So you're saying the Ralme 9 PRO has a more eye-pleasing display than the Motorola G73? Because the parameters of both phones are very similar

        • Has anyone tried the xiaomi 12T 5G yet? A reviewer from notebookcheck.net states that the display uses DC. However, it probably uses the same display as the 12T Pro, which gave some users on this forum a headache.

Do you have any tips? Because I couldn't find anything usable on the market...unfortunately...

        • I confirm the opinion of mag01. The Poco X4 GT display has a very annoying Temporal Dithering, which is very tiring for the eyes and a headache (at least for me). I personally tested this phone and, on average, with a wide range of display settings, I could not find a setting that would turn off Temporary Dithering.

Note: X4 GT does not have PWM.
