today i tried to manage my eyes and brain to have no problem looking at this va panel and guess what?
my right pupil is bigger and left smaller and IN THIS WEIRD CONDITION i can stand this screen for some short amount of time, isnt that sick? and why its like that? weird so much- Edited
monitor i have huge eyestrain: AOC CU34G2XP/BK
monitor i have much less eyestrain: AOC Q24G2A/BK
what you see there is basically flashlight sent to turned off monitor. one have rainbow stripe visible when flashing into screen, one just one light. on first version i have huge eystrain on second much much less. first is curved va, second flat ips
cool reddit topic about polarisation, check this especially video from this guy:
https://www.reddit.com/r/monitor/comments/we8t0s/to_everyone_with_eye_strain_solution_wtf/i messaged aoc support about my problem can you believe told me im first person that report eyestrain problems? lol
1st message was lower contrast and brightness and go to doctor. it doesnt help

Just look at this. its not normal and i think our eyes cannot stand this moving white shadow. its not always the same thats why our eyes get extremely crazy. dont know how to call this phenomenon but it exist. this va screen helped me to know whats going on. on ips i had hard eyestrain, on va super hardcore. is MOVING glow cause of all our eyestrains?
what if it were static or doesnt just exist? i know oled is existing there and there is no ips glow but oled have flickering so its also another pain, lets discuss but i think im very close now (i hope)its not reflection from room light, i turned light off and it was same weird
AOC Q24G2A/BK - IPS flat
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAx6G7rGsKkAOC CU34G2XP/BK - VA CURVE
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nOsIeABUrq0look on va curve how screen is shining, its crazy
on va i feel like im looking at it like a reflective jacket. it's a feeling of crystal and a strange shimmering light that I can't describe. on ips effect is smaller but moving ips glow can irritate eye IMHO
there is something in these screens that makes the light not flat but rather reflective, I don't know how to describe it in English but that's the feeling I get when I look at the VA curved monitor
on va i was able to look at screen only with one eye. with two eye it was like Eye convergence problem.

up is good article about curved va screenstl:dr
moving ips glow is killing eyes as you see on video with flat monitor
with curved monitor not only moving ips you can see, monitor is shining like diamond!!!in this thread dude have same problem like me, after looking at ultrawide curved va when i looked to normal flat monitor i also saw normal monitor like round shape xD
and another thing why when i set contrast on monitor it also changes brightness? sometimes people use contrast menu at monitor to reduce brightness. its weird
idk if that ips glow effect is causing this or what, need to study this more
now on AOC Q24G2A/BK i see this 3d effect. isnt it panel backlight make this effect to me? whats wrong with these new monitors i cant understand wtf is happening. never had problems like this before

checked once again this ultrawide VA panel and i was seeing this wallpaper on my desktop as 3D man xD especially the red parts it was shining in my eyes so much and it was more like 3D vision not flat object
on IPS i look at same wallpaper and no have 3d effect when i look at it wtf
thats crazy but i still have no idea what causes this
btw which monitors have no pixel inversion problems? maybe its my problem

the worst on this va panel is that black and colors is different from angle you look, you move head contrast of black moves. the one thing that really helped me was lowering contrast in software because this brightness and contrast at built in monitor menus are weird. contrast is like brigthness and brightness like contrast. when i lowered down illuminance of panel it helped me but still it was weird and extremley painful. va is not for me i prefer this ips, on ips i also have eyestrain but not hardcore like on this curved ultrawide va

sorry for my chaotic posts but im really pissed off. its 5th monitor and its only worse and i get drunk yesterday
i back to Monitor AOC Q24G2A/BK and i have less symptoms (maybe because of high ppi?, maybe because of IPS? idk) but they are still here. no matter how i look at this ultrawide it always gives me pain. yesterday i took friend to my house for few hours and said him to play games on ultrawide monitor and he didnt had any problems xD no comment
bump because this is good discover
and another fact why i buy ultrawide if my pupil cant get visualisation of all screen without eyestrain? dont know how to describe it english but sometimes you have this visual effect of ultrawide and your pupils set another position and it makes you pain
but ips/va glow is bigger enemy than i was thinking
