I've been diagnosed since I was a kid with Autoimmune - mixed connective tissue disease. So can basically have inflammation problems anywhere.
2012 I first got a Dell monitor I could not use because of eye strain. Sold it, moved on and never had a problem with screens until about 2 years ago.
The last 6 years i've been suffering with histmine intolerance which is the reason i'm trying to heal my gut. Have lots of brain fog if I have too much sugar and carbs so tend to stick low carb. Still need some carbs and do ok with a little white rice. Possibly have SIBO causing these issues.
Gluten is a major inflammatory food for me. Makes me break out with horrible acne and I get joint pain. I can control the inflammation in my body if I'm disciplined and only eat what I know is safe for me.
I believe my health issues contribute to being sensitive to new screen devices when others aren't. Although I feel the new technology is still to blame as I can use my old stuff without issue.
I work fulltime as a web designer. So rely on screens for money. I've got a safe device atm but have had to work for a few weeks on a bad setup which caused me a lot of stress. I feel stress can cause gut issues which may make this eye strain problem worse. So stressing about not having a safe computer system is a vicious cycle. Don't stress if its not working.
