autobot Say i have an android device that i can't set to 16-bit(or no temporal dithering) , does using firefox at 16-bit mode[1] should solve the temporal dithering issue ? [1]about:config -> search for 16, change the rgb16 and 16bpp to true.
vinkenvvt autobot I think it will work. But I don't think people who are seriously concerned about colors will leave the hope on a cell phone. The pixels are so tiny that I need to look very closely. (Cell phone is designed for communication)
autobot JTL I think there's still some effect, maybe less noticed. And thinking about it a bit more - it doesn't seem that reliable - it's enough that there's some overlay or something in the device to change this back to 24-bit, which will force the display to dither.
