If you suffer from eye strain with LED and OLED TVs, especially recent year models, think of giving projection a shot. I was in a dark place (in life) when I couldn't find a new TV that didn't mess with my eyes/brain after returning quite a few including an LG OLED CX and Samsung QLED (2020). After many months of questions, a person on a forum mentioned projection as a natural predecessor to my old Panasonic Plasma that gave me zero issues.
All of that said, I bought a 3LCD UST (Ultra Short Throw) projector and it has been great. With sizes up to around 120 inches, It will be hard to go back to a normal TV in your living space afterwards. Besides 3LCD, there are DLP (digital light projection) projectors that use a moving color wheel. Some people are sensitive to the color wheel used, so I stayed clear of those.
I moved my Plasma to my bedroom, but it can go out on me at any time. When that day comes, I will be buying another projector for that room as well.
I wanted to share the knowledge and hope that it helps someone.
