Hello all, the projector/screen combo come together. It’s the Epson LS500. I have the 100” version vs the 120”.
I haven’t tried hooking up a computer to it, but HDMI inputs are certainly there. When my NUC is ready, I will give it a shot and see.
Out of curiosity, what screen did you elect to go with? Last night I looked up screens because I was curious and I see they come in black, grey and white with grey being the generally recommended one.
Clokwork It’s the Epson LS500
I have the screen that was included in the package deal from Epson. You can buy the projector with our without a screen packaged. Mine is Grey which is how most will appear for ultra short throw projectors to reject the ambient light.
Thanks for this. Ordering the projector. Unfortunately I can't seem to buy the screen anywhere so will need an alternative. Any experience with Lumene?
I am pretty new to the world of projectors, so this is my first dive into it. From what I have watched and read though, any high quality screen will make good use of the projector. Please just make sure it’s an ALR screen for an ultra short throw projector.
I also use an Epson projector. It hasn't resolved my problem. Still it feels a bit better compared to normal screens. I guess it depends on the nature of the eye problems.
I’m curious, what kind of issues do you have with screens? What model do you have?
Isn't this going to still be using some sort of LED light, anyway?
Hi. The Epson and others offer laser for the light source.
i have tried several projectors in the past years. The ones with the color wheels are the worst in my eyes 😉
rainbow effect = motion sickness
It is expensive, but if you consider the cost of a 120" display it gets up there too..
Curious to see Quad43's review when it is tested out.
