So Phillips has these replacement LED tubes that fit into fluorescent light fixtures and are claimed to be flicker free, not ugly and blue, etc. Would anyone be interested if I tried some out in my garage (as I am converting it into a server room) and write a detailed report?

Got it 😃
No flicker vs older fluorescent technology. Tested with Canon T5i and well standing under it for 10 minutes with no problems.
I believe this is the one my father bought.

Well here's one picture taken with my GoPro (as I can't find the memory card for my DSLR 😐)

Nice find JTL, but I couldn't find the flicker-free claim in the marketing
degen Is this enough proof for you?
JTL Looks like a private video?
JTL I didn't doubt you, but I would have been excited to see a lamp manufacturer list it as a feature. Might give an indication that we will see more flicker-free lamps in the future. One step at a time I guess.

I realized lamps tend to have a very different name or even totally different specs in Europe vs. USA/Canada. Makes things more difficult...
