Hello All 🙂

I've been experimenting with one-eye patching while using my laptop monitor for the past several weeks and it has been successful insofar as it has reduced my symptoms while looking at the monitor. However, recently I have noticed that I am having difficulty focusing on text with both eyes when the text is close to my eyes. Something is not right with my eyes now.

Has anyone else experienced this, and if yes, have you found a solution?

Hi @daniels, i have done quite much covering one eye training 2-3 years ago. This is what I have learned under that time.

When you do the covering/patching it’s quite exhausting for your system. It’s a process for reprogramming, and your brain, eye muscles and every other part have to work hard. So when you take of your patch your system is configured for one eye, and then it have to go back to two eyes.

So under the time I pushed my training I also could feel when I switch back to two eyes that some things didn’t work perfect right away, like zoom and focus. So I gave it some time and rest.

mike Thank you very much for your reply and for this info, this is very helpful to me! I have stopped doing the patching over the last couple days (with the result that I now turn into a zombie again when I use my laptop over extended periods), but my eyes seem to be adjusting back to normal, two-eye mode. Thanks again!

Same thing happened to me, I just kept patching and eventually it went away
