Yes, This is so strange. The PWM issue I've had for 30 years, so that in a way I can understand, that my eyes are just such that they do not tolerate flickering light.
But why all of a sudden EVERY screen except the one Lenovo x280 started causing problems in FEB/MARCH this year, is beyond comprehension.
It would also make sense if there was an update to the devices, but why the televisions started to irritate, though it is absolutely certain that a 12 year old sony TV did not get any update at the summer house.
Maybe there was some update in Windows that just finally fried my optic nerves so that now my eyes are sensitive to most devices.
Interesting finding is that my Kindle Paperwhite 2021 is also irritating with the built in light, but if I read it with a led red headlight, it does not irritate, or if I read it in daylight. So it seems that Kindle backlight is also flickering, maybe at some very high frequency.
We just should find the cause, what is it in my Lenovo x280 that is different to every other computer screen, that it does not cause any eye strain? Then get manufacturers to manufacture displays and drivers etc. just like the Lenovo x280.
A status report from the Ikervis cyclosporin drops - no effect after nearly 3 months of using them. Just like I thought. ow I just would need to get the eye doctor who prescribed them, the admit that dry eyes is NOT the problem.
After watching TV with a tape in my eye glasses, I have zero problems with dry eyes, but if I watch TV for 2 hours with both eyes, my eyes will get red again.
