degen Interesting for FL-41. When I tired them on they literally caused pain just by themselves. I have tried FL-41, Theraspecs, Blu blockers, Gunna tints, three types of Irlen tinting, Migralenses, UV filters, you name it and while some help better than others I wouldn't call any of them truly effective. Better than nothing but not a big impact
Changing displays helped a lot of people though.
Agreed, I was just posting my experience. I have an older 50" Panasonic plasma that causes me no issues, a few years ago I bought a newer Panasonic plasma, caused intense eye strain, returned it for a Panasonic LED, and in Game mode it doesn't cause me any pain. If I pug in a Roku stick, Fire stick, or Tivo Bolt into either of the TV's that do not cause me issues though, they immediately start causing me intense pain. So it appears (at least in my case) that any display is capable of causing me pain, it just depends on what is driving it.
I also have identical monitors on 2 separate computers, one pain free, other unusable, until I added the correct ICC profile which eliminated the pain, once again pointing to it;s how the screen is being used by the underlying display hardware that is really at fault. And top your point there are screens that no matter what is driving them cause me pain as well.
