Harrison Nope, I mean I see flashes of light, often with a circular shape, once I move away from the computer or I see stars as if I have been punched. The phenomenon seems to be accentuated with displays that give me eyestrain and at night, but it might be that I notice the flashes more easily at night simply because of the contrast.

I am not very positive instead about the fact that our eyes can adapt to unnatural sources of light or that we should adapt except that we have to if we want to be "alive" in this society. Do you think we are more sensitive or weaker than most people vision-wise? I mean, are we the picky ones who complain about nothing or are we capable of detecting artificially generated phenomena which may result unhealthy to everyone on the long term? I am quite sure there are people out there who cannot handle an IPhone X but have otherwise perfect vision, and that the opposite holds too, namely, there are people with very poor vision who do not notice any flickering or temporal dithering nor have any headache or eyestrain if they wear glasses...
