PCoIP's server side as I understand it is not a SW you may install on any end user OS…? Or you can?
I agree it might be useful in order to analyze various OS versions and what they do, but my exercise is more trying to see what is graphics cards' and motherboards' impact…
In the meantime I performed further tests… I can see similar changes whenever there is something displayed on the screen - I did not see anything on pure white screen. Issues with pure white screen are probably more caused by the screen itself or video timing settings.
However, just today I was able to confirm again that what I am seeing with my own eyes very well correlates with what I detect as changes in these analyses: in two games I perceived stability differences between fullscreen and borderless (windowed) modes - both locally on the bad system and when streaming to a good system. I recorded both situations over streaming and what do I see? Way more red (changes) in frames from the fullscreen mode. I am more and more confident this is no color profile issue, compression or conversion issue but it actually represents one of the picture stability problems we are facing.
BTW I have to say that overall I see way more of these changes in fullscreen games than I saw while I was capturing desktop applications (although those changes were there as well). Wonder why.
