You need to use their software.
Download the one corresponding to your screen :

You can then define a keyboard shortcut to clear the screen.
@goahead97 @thelele Sorry for offtopic, could you please share your experience with Dasung devices?
kammerer I think I can also chime in here. For working with text or anything that doesn't really require (a lot of) color or you manage to find ways around the color limitation, you can't go wrong with a Dasung monitor. If you don't mind (or got used to) ghosting, the ca. 15 to 20 Hz refresh rate, and having only 16 shades of gray on screen, you can also watch videos on it. However, some people say that video playback etc. reduces the life span of eink screens, but mine still works just like on day one after three years of usage whereby the first two years I've used the monitor daily.
seeker_of_no_light how do you find the light, if you have one with light and use it
maestromodesto I haven't used the light that much, because I'm very sensitive to PWM/light flickering and the two light options my Dasung model has (blue-ish and orange-ish) also strain my eyes.
As for the actual quality of the frontlight, keep in mind that my model is almost 5 years old and I have no idea what improvements Dasung has possibly implemented since then, but it looks like the frontlight of other eink devices, maybe a bit cheaper, because as devices like the Kindle or Kobo e-readers try to minimize ghosting as much as possible (and have an easier time doing so, because there's no constant updating of the screen unlike an eink screen used as a computer monitor), this effect becomes more pronounced if you turn the light on.
But I'm also the type of person who thinks that having a backlight or frontlight kinda defeats the purpose of an eink screen. Not sure if this answer is what you were looking for
