Are there different models of the g100? Some listing say it has 5g and others don't. Looking to buy one to use with Verizon in USA. Just want to make sure there are no screen differences if there are different versions of the phone.

I've read a few posts of people using the g100 with verizon. One person on lenovo forum and another on reddit. I read the whole CDMA and gsm issue is no longer relevant in newer phones?

John615 it may only have a couple Verizon bands which could result in poor service. Haven’t researched enough on the exact phone, but going by Motorola’s website it says incompatible with Verizon. I’m on Verizon atm as well. Thinking of switching back to ATT because it seems there’s more compatible devices.

I am finding the Moto G100 is less comfortable than my iPhone SE (2020). When looking back at my iPhone SE my eyes go “Ahhhh”. Moto G100 is used at brightness 65%.

Moto G100 is not nearly as bad as Galaxy A32 5G which is really uncomfortable (for me, I think we had a positive opinion from someone else).

iPhone SE (2020) which I use has panel lottery.

Edit: I returned the phone. It caused eye muscle tightening. Shame as it was a nice phone, very fast, great value, and the Ready For features are useful. I really hate returning electronics for this eye issue (it makes me feel terrible).

Where did you buy the g100? Just wondering which place has a good return policy.

degen It's safe to assume that you can skip the Oneplus 9. I wanted to like it's little brother, the 8T, but it's giving me tension behind my eyes and unability to focus. Notebookcheck states that it's a 460Hz PWM oled panel but from my observations it goes lower under 65% brightness(can be picked up by a smartphone camera). The DC dimming implementation on this phone doesn't eliminate pwm and, thus, seems more like a gimmick to me. On the "plus" side, the phone is fast and easily flashable. People are trying to downgrade from Oxigen 12 buggy OS (leans more towards Oppo after the merger) which is a clear sign that Oneplus is losing it's identity.

Has anyone else tried the ROG Phones?

10-bit displays (so no temporal dithering?) and no PWM after low brightness, and they also have a DC Dimming option.

hi. any body test note 11t pro pluse for pwm? said it has full dc dimming option!

hoss11-1 I have seen Aliexpress offer and if I assume it correctly, it has 2000+ Hz flicker. So it is not completely flicker-free.

How are you finding the A32 5G? Using the Mi 10t Pro gives me migraine even with the brightness above 60%.

I did, it should be here tomorrow. Hopefully it's usable!

Hisense A9 is released- somebody bite the bullet and see if works in the USA

Received the g100. Works fine with Verizon. Did a speed test and got 66Mbps down and 45 Mbps up on 4g LTE.

As for eye strain, I'll use the phone for the next few days as my main phone and see how it goes. Did a quick test with a camera and the phone does seem to have vertical flickering lines under 65% brightness as another user mentioned. Above that and it disappears. I really hope I can use this phone, because I don't know what else to try at this point.
