Screen/display comfort is something very personalized/individualized, and I'm very surprised no smartphone manufacturer currently provides in depth customization options within their display settings, (such as the ability to customize screen contrasts, text contrasts, hues, tones, saturation, ambiance, balance etc).
What we're given, is an extremely limited set of pre configurations (max 2/3) within display settings - while paying these smartphone manufacturers hundreds and in some cases, thousands of ££/$$.
No one would buy a TV/Screen/monitor/Laptop/PC if advanced display customization options weren't available as standard (of which many are) - and any displays that aren't customizable, would most likely receive negative reviews.
Why isn't there a push for this type of display customization in smartphones?, considering more people, more so now than ever, are using smartphones for almost all their digital/media content, from surfing, to reading, watching, listening, even working etc
It's truly bizarre.
We hear so much (mostly pedantic) ranting in article & video reviews concerning smartphone camera quality/tech/software, chipset power, charging speed through to gpu/gaming frame per seconds debates, but absolute zero discussion or reference to display customization (which on 99% of smartphones, is practically zero or rather, offered at such an embarrassingly basic level. It's shocking.
More needs to be said and done. Consumers are being ripped off financially, and with additional costs/losses to eye health & health in general as a result.
If some level of advanced display tweaking was available, I'm pretty sure we'd all have a lot less issues (especially those prone to digital display fatigue) and way more satisfaction.
Is it just me that thinks this way, or does anyone else agree?
