awesome,Thanks for the video. I mean they seem like an awesome option. They did not flicker once up and running correct?
I have found two types of ballast for them. One that is strictly designed for leds (linked in the post above) and one that is compatible with Leds and fluorescent tubes. (linked below). I just got off the phone with Phillips tech support and he was no help in deciding if the ballast designed explicitly for led tubes ( (linked in the post above) will provide a better light from the led tubes verses the ballast that is compatible with both fluorescent and led tubes. He simply said they are designed differently and sent me a spec sheet.
Also Cree makes an LED tube as well. Have you tried those?: A Youtuber did a tear down of both tubes and they are definitely designed differently.

Can i ask if you recommend the Phillips led tubes and did you decide with a Phillips brand ballast? The Phillips ballast/driver supposedly operates at 42khz while another brand, Robertson, I found that is seemly compatible operates at around 45khz? If you tried the Cree led tubes, were they better in your opinion?
Also, Do you prefer the Phillips led tubes over a traditional F32t8? If i got the flourescent route I am getting the following model: F32T8/TL850/ALTO - 5000K T8 Bulbs 800 Series. It has a CRI of 82 at 5000K.
May get both to see how my eyes react.
I realize I am asking a lot. i don't want to overwhelm. if you are unsure which ballast you went with no worries.
Thanks for the great info.
