LED tech damages the eyes, disrupts circadian rhythms, and has a negative environmental impact. This is widely known. A quick google search will yeald relevant results and sources.
What isn't known, are the real long term implications - as no appropriate long term clinical research has been conducted on led/sight/health safety. We are all essentially being used in a mass worldwide experiment.
In the meantime, the least Apple (google & samsung etc), could do, is ACKNOWLEDGE that an issue exists (instead of blaming consumers with a medical condition), and then attempt to address it, or, at the very least, let consumers know that it's been acknowledged.
Chinese manufacturers (Xiaomi, Honor, Realme etc), are already all over this issue - investing research into better quality displays, and higher PWM tech - and advertising and acknowledging that a problem exists.
Yet, Apple, the most "Prestige" & one of the most expensive tech brand in the world, are totally silent on the issue. Say's a lot really.
Protesting, or gaining some form of media attention about this matter, will at least raise further notice and maybe push Apple to provide some type of response. Something they haven't been very willing to do.
