I also have a quick alternative solution that may help someone: USB-C (or whatever port your phone uses) to HDMI hub. Find any one you like on Amazon. Monitors, TVs, movie screens, etc doesn't hurt me but for some reason, tablets and smart phones causes pain on my head. I just don't understand. Regardless and only if your phone supports it (google it first), just hook up your phone to a hub, connect a wireless mouse if possible, connect it to the television or monitor, and problem solved. Let me know if that works out for you guys.
