  • Hope for MacOS Sonoma???

Hi all is anyone hopeful that Somona may have new accessibility settings? I know I've read that there is a functionality to change font size… so maybe more iPad like accessibility settings are coming!?

If no hope for Sonoma does anyone have any hopes on what's coming on the horizon?? once we get past this weird in between 8bit and 10bit sort of place we're in maybe that's when things may drastically improve??

GBowler Considering we don't have a firm grasp of all the potential technical causes of eyestrain and the seemingly inability of tech companies to (easily) differentiate between suspected "good" vs "bad" setups I have trouble remaining optimistic about future prospects.

Has anyone tried the update? Has something changed?

Lauda89 Northing major but you can change the font size, and I'm starting to realise that a lot of what spins me out is the font rendering side of things.

On a side note, the iris tech app set to 'simple fonts' seems massively helpful to me,

I don't own an Apple Silicone machine, I just buy and return one now and again to see if I can get anywhere.

If I had to make a current apple laptop work for me, it'd be the M2 air, with Iris Tech app 'simple fonts' , dark mode, reduced transparency, increase contrast.

but honestly I'm starting to think my 2019 15" MacBook Pro has hypnotized my brain and I'm just trained on it…. Pixel 6 phone perfect for me as well

The Iris Tech app set to 'simple fonts' is the biggest leap I've had in 10 months struggling

anon123 I don't so much know the difference between font smoothing and ani aliasing, but yes it cuts a ton of that off, maybe even turns it off?

Speaking of fonts, bold font on iPhone tends to work better for me
