Like many of you here, I discovered when my old gaming monitor died that most new monitors were absolutely agonizing to my eyes- pain, dizziness, nausea, etc.
I tried several monitors and all were quite awful, but I eventually purchased a Gigabyte M32Q and it's been fine for me. I've been using it for a year now without issue. Strangely, I can find others online complaining this monitors hurts their eyes so it's obviously not a universal thing.
The two things I can identify with this monitor that seem a bit different are that it uses an Innolux panel- most cheap gaming monitors use a BOE or similar it seems, and secondly, it is listed as an Eyesafe certified monitor- one of only a few that Gigabyte make. As far as I can understand, this means it does not have the more energetic high frequency blue light.
If anyone else has tried this monitor I'm curious if it was tolerable for you. I'm currently trying to replace my wife's 24" gaming monitor and we've now gone through three different monitors without any luck. She doesn't want a monitor as large as the M32Q, so I need to find something smaller.
