Got my one Today, so far nothing abnormal, and feels better than PWM laptop screen. Running with ditherig.exe, although I am really anxcious running it, since microsoft started flaging it as virus (please let me know if this is definitely false flag). Ome thing is I am running over HDMI, so I think someone already said it - refresh rate is limited over HDMI. And yes, box was with LG revision. Its weird I have mentioned coating just few days ago, this LG panel has creat coating, not usual grainy matte screens which you get most of the time. Not sure how much is this related to lower eye strain. Anyways, I will keep on testing, and as always I try to be careful not to give full conclusions during first try. So, only thing I can tell, is after pwm laptop running at 1415 Hz, I feel more grounded immediately. It was like prison of no escape, when you are working over 8 ours a day and when on the market probalbly only few gaming laptops are trully flicker free and nobody knows the rules of the batch draw game.
Update:
Macbook pro 2015 over HDMI, so far so good also. Above example was with windows 11. Did not feel abnormalities with windows 11 either. More updates will come. In any case already want to thank those who have shared this valueable information, this screen is really good for non gamers. To be honest, I start to think all those BENQ color accurate monitors are big BS.
This is how I know dither is off in mac os. Checkout the screensnot of this part of app menu, its like from old days of 265 colors, which is what I want!
