ASUS PA32UCR monitor tests

Hey guys, I'm currently testing ASUS PA32UCR which should be true 10bit, but utilizing PWM. And I'm confused with one thing, using the microscope and iphone attached to it I can see that pixels are flickering. So I'm confused, what am I seeing here? Is this an FRC? Or it's a PWM? PWM is present on this monitor, I tested with opple.

On official ASUS website it says this monitor is a true 10bit, same as on https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/129328d8

I don't see any pixel flickering on OLED displays, but OLED is using different frequencies and other techs.

As you can see videos of 8bit and 10bit are flickering identically which means that I'm seeing PWM ?

ASUS ProArt PA329C

Its not cheap, but here they mention clearly - it has low blue light certification and its flicker free.

Okay, the guy from Tech chat support from ASUS confirmed that it's 8bit. So my eyes and my observations didn't lie.

Did you ever find a true 10 bit monitor and if so did it fix the problem? I’d pay any amount of money at this point if it would let me use Windows 11 or even an up to date Windows 10 version.

If we look here it says "Flicker-free : Yes". Also "TÜV Flicker-free"

(If that certification can be trusted is a different question, and in consideration of the past questionable standards of TUV with lack of transparency I wouldn't think so.)

I never found true 8 bit or true 10 bit monitor

All of them had different types of FRC + pixel inversion
