I have an astigmatism. I have been trying to migraine from dual-booting MacOS + Linux to Windows 11 + Wsl.
I can use Linux, including on a virtual machine on the Windows 11 machine, but really really struggle with Windows.
In Linux, I use Cinnamon, set bold fonts such as Roboto, and disable vaious animations. In Windows 11, I can't set an accessible desktop environment, can't set readable fonts, etc. I have to reduce screen resolution, and install Mactype, and use extremely aggressive settings to make most text readable, and thered is no way to make all text readable.
Microsoft seem to have decide that text scaling, screen scaling, and reducing screen resolution are good enough solutions. But the 1st and 2nd only work in certain apps, and the 3rd doesn't go far enough. Just letting users bolden all text, or set bold fonts for all text, would work so much better.
