Grow lights for house plants?

Has anyone found grow lights/lamp for house plants without a terrible invisible flicker? I'm on my second lamp and I can't be in the same room with it or my eyes will feel a sharp stabbing pain. Would love to know if someone has a brand that's good for the eyes. I live in a small apartment and can't put the plants out of sight in a basement or garage with the lamp on. I need something tolerable. Thanks in advance.

Some assembly is needed.

The lights per-se are not the problem, the problem is that they went cheap on the power supply circuit. You need a rectifier in the power supply to stop the flicker.

So you will either build that yourself or replace the power supply to the lights with a better designed one.
