Is there a way to run an App on iOS 14.7 which is not supposed to?

Hello everyone,

In the past I tried several things to get back to the Apple ecosystem. But even trying different Incell displays with my iPhone 12pro did not bring the desired relief.

So now I ordered a brand-new iPhone XR (I destroyed mine by updating to iOS 16.x two years ago), and the new XR came with iOS 14.7. Tada - no more headaches. But everything comes at a price: while most apps will run. My Mercedes-Benz app doesn't. This is the one app I don't want to miss, as I use it daily in winter or hot summer to activate the air conditioning in my MB hybrid car.

The current Mercedes app is programmed for iOS 15 and above. An older one installs, but when launched it says I need to upgrade iOS to run the app and is unusable.

Is there a workaround? Jailbreak etc.? What is the experience with iOS 15? Is there any way to install it, like jailbreaking? I just used iOS 16 and above and its a nightmare!

ulib If you jailbreak theres a tweak called appstore++ that will allow you to download and install older versions of apps instead of the appstore fetching the latest version only. Theres also another one called lower install or something like that which may work similarly. I think theres ways to modify the .ipa file to edit the minimum os requirement as well.

if you were to modify the ipa I think you can technically sideload it with testflight or even with cydiaimpactor too. Its been awhile since ive messed with jailbreaking but those are some things I can remember
