What are these lines on my screen?

I don't know how to upload videos to this page, but here's an example on IMGUR. Only some colors appear like this, like some types of light blue, some types of green, and some types of orange. These lines don't appear on any other colors. Why does this happen?

From a distance, they look like horizontal lines, but up close, they look like dark dots.

Watermelon Are you sure it's temporal dithering? Can you explain a little bit what mine is, please? Is it something negative? My screen is 6-bit, is that why? I have a worse, cheaper 6-bit screen, but I can't see those lines you call dithering.

wow, i have used ditherig.exe and noticed changes!

I'm not "sure". It's just I also used ditherig. And I also saw these lines on devices with bad eyestrain problem. Hence I just assumed. 6bit is pure evil. I prefer VA monitors with 8 bit. 10bit is kinda expensive but even better.

Well... but now the dithering application has managed to make all the colors affected by these lines appear correctly, as if they never existed. It's wonderful to be able to see the sky in an animated series without those damn lines crossing horizontally across the screen. Even the oranges have their texture now! It seems like there's something hiding the lines, or something. The graininess you see now makes the screen look similar to the one on my old computer that I used every day. Thanks to "spatial dithering."

I never thought I could fix the damn problem.
