RTX 1660 Super on 8bit BenQ BL2410 8bit - DisplayPort dGray RGB 127 127 127 Win 10 LTSC 21H2 19044.2846 Nvidia driver 31.0.15.1694 / 516.94 Still debating what to include in video text overlay and description. Suggestions welcome. Tested the usual suspects ditherig 2.21, colorcontrol 10, novideo_srgb. They have ZERO effect. What you recorded, is monitor's pixel inversion, not dithering. Dithering is lower layer which masked with monitor pixel inversion / FRC. Its hard to catch it with camera, only via HDMI recorder which can record 4:4:4 color (without loss)

I think in your benq you able to see horizontal bars without additional optics?

I have the Arc A770 le and the same Win 10 LTSC 21h2.
I don't see dithering on my build, but the strain is present.
I use this wallpaper as test. If I see banding, Dithering is off, otherwise the image is smooth.

The problem for me is this Windows version.
My last safe build was with Win 10 1809 and all updates blocked.

btw, mine bl2420z also mention as 8-bit, but when I get panel datasheet, found it accept 8-bit input data, upbit and send 6-bit into matrix. All 27" 2k165, 2x 27" 2k75, 27" FHD 100, and few 24" FHD 60 I checked, were 6-bit ^_^
