PC build: Looking for the final "safe" build

Hello guys until now what's your GPU+Win "safe" combo?

My GPUs are:
2070s 8gb
Intel Arc a770le 16gb
1660ti q-max 6gb (laptop)
2060 6gb (laptop)

Win OS:
Win 10 1809 x64 (updates blocked)
Win 10 Ltsc 2019 21h2

My safe build is 2070s +1809 + colorcontrol to disable dithering.

I tried the Arc + ltsc 2019. Dithering on this build is off because Arc seems dither free o 8bit monitor.

The problem for me is the migraines.
In the last build, dithering is off, but I advert a mild migraine sensation.
In my experience the OS is the big cause of strain,.more than a GPU.

What's your experience guys?

In regards to Windows 10 LTSC 2021, Try this, https://github.com/dylanraga/win11hdr-srgb-to-gamma2.2-icm

Windows 10 21H2 is affected by this even though it states Windows 11. Use this to generate a LUT file with the provided web tool with a Gamma of 2.2 and set the brightness value close to what you use and paste it into the lut.cal file. Then use Novideo sRGB and set the color target to sRGB or Adobe RGB, or load the desired ICC profile that came with your monitor or one generated from your calibration tool. This has nothing to do directly with dithering but might possibly shift the rendering into something thats more comfortable.

I tried the DP instead of hdmi and seems worst.
In this case in the intel graphics settings the color space is locked to 8 bit.
With the Arc and ltsc 2019 (21h2) I don't feel eye strain but migraine only.
1) Did you blocked the updates on ltsc?
2) What other Win version does It works for you?
3) Is win 11 24h2 good in your experience?
Update. Migraine today was terrible. So the combo Arc+ltsc 2019 is very bad. Probably the trigger was that yesterday I tried the Display Port cable.
This evening I'll back to my safe build 2070s+1089.
Ok Arc is dithering free but there are other triggers

I can use Windows 10 LTSC 2021 without strain but i dont like how it handles colors/gamma by default and none of my applications have run into compatibility issues yet on LTSC 2019.

I was never able to get my RTX "A"4000 16GB to work, despite using the lossless capture card DVI2PCIe and testing the resulting capture for dithering (no dithering detected) i could clearly see and feel the dithering with my own eyes. I reached out to Nvidia several times but of course they were of no help and claimed the output is the same as any older card, if that really is true i suspect they are using some kind of internal color space conversation algorithm that might not be "technically" dithering but is essentially dithering. I have not been able to use any Nvidia Ampere based card with success.

Your DVI2PCIe card can capture 4:4:4, or 4:2:2 only…?

I am wonder how can you use turing base grapfic card, mine rtx2070s strain me, compared to gtx1060

The calmest system I got is:

gtx1060 with 451.67 driver ( after 460.xx no more checkbox "Use nvidia settings available", this significantly reduce strain )

Newest drivers didnt apply this from what I understood

No XMP profiles of DDR4, JEDEC 2133mhz looks better than XMP 3200 or JEDEC 2666 ( idk why )
No CPU overclock

Interesting, ive never used a retail RTX 2070 Super, the Quadro RTX 4000 is just a cutdown lower clocked version of it and always comes with Samsung VRAM. I always install Windows with no network connectivity and disable updates before connecting regardless of version. I only use 2019 LTSC(1809) and 2021 LTSC(21H2). Havent tested any version of Windows 11 but when i have time i plan on testing Windows 11 LTSC 26100.1742

Also, i personally avoid non workstation or server motherboards for any systems i build now a days, i tested both an EVGA Z390 Dark and EVGA Z490 Dark and both boards had some kind of strange modulation which caused minor eyestrain when tested side by side with my other systems, both boards had built in Wifi, using different RAM or GPU's made no difference, i can only guess there is some kind of interference going on with those boards related to the Wifi or something with the chipset itself.
