seakerofsense If it resets after an Android update, simply do it again. It's extremely easy. Android OS updates are not frequent anyway.

Reinhard62 how did you confirm no PWM? It is actually DC dimmed? That's so rare these days.

StaticLCD It is not rare for IPS LCD. You are unlikely to find any IPS LCD phone with PWM.

First of all, the Moto G54 has an LCD screen. These are without PWM.

If you still doubt it, take another phone and look at your first phone with the camera, exposure time set to 1/6000 or shorter.

If it's PWM you will see black stripes across the screen. No PWM, no stripes.

I have just done it on Honor 400 (Android 15, MagicOS 9) with no issues. So, it can be added to the list in the first post.
Will see about the symptoms reduction in a few days.

Not sure whether it is the HDR fix or patching (4 days in) but I am able to use Honor 400 (AMOLED) with both eyes now.

So, I have just implemented this on my NXTPaper 11 Plus.

I got through all the steps successfully and gotten the final text confirmation.

But do I understand correctly that it will not do much since none of the HDR listed in your post are actually supported?

The relevant line in the file states: "supportedHdrTypes=[]"

I will see if I can test the device as I only seldomly use it (up for sale btw) and report back.

Moto g75 says supportedHdrTypes=[], so i don't know if this have done anything. Everything seems the same at first glare
