None. I got the Gardasil vaccine when I was 19 (so 13 years ago) and developed tinnitus, hyperacusis, and visual snow. I also reacted to a flu vaccine years later and my doctor said “no more vaccines.” So when the pandemic and COVID vaccines came around, I essentially isolated for years. I only got COVID because someone lied that they were sick and infected someone in my family who then got me sick.
Relating to OLED, I do not tolerate other OLED phone screens or monitors. I’ve tried them. But for some reason this particular iPhone 13 is completely fine. My mom’s iPhone 13 I bought in the same package from T-Mobile is also fine. I owned a 13 Pro before this and it’s even better. I didn’t have any issues with OLED or any LCD’s prior to COVID. And until I got reinfected in 2024 I could also tolerate some older dithering algorithms.
In my particular case, one event (an illness), triggered my screen sensitivity and further infections seem to worsen it. There’s clearly a neurological and nervous system component in my case. I’ve spoken to other users here and elsewhere and they, too, either had sensitivity after a COVID infection or it was greatly worsened by it. When you look at the science of what we know and COVID’s ability to cross the blood brain barrier, it makes perfect sense.
I’m not saying this is true for everyone but many of us with long COVID, ME/CFS, POTS, and other autoimmune diseases tend to have issues with light and screens. Of course it would be nice to solve the underlying health problem; but in the meantime I’d like to solve the device problem as that is more easily solvable. We know so little about the human body, especially the brain.
