"I did not see any improvement with the filters that just eliminate blue light but I have dramatic improvement with glasses with the Rose colored FL-41 35% density filters. I also had some improvement with some yellow looking glasses that a different source claimed are FL-41 but they do not help enough for me to use a monitor all day like the Rose colored FL-41 glasses do."

K-Moss reading more from the original post you linked to, I saw that the person uses a fan to test for screen flicker, wondering if that is more reliable than videoing with an iPhone in slo-mo?

Do you know what brand of glasses the person used?

Joise The brand shouldn't matter much. They're all roughly equivalent I would think. I found a few options very quickly and will be buying a pair for myself. Seems impressive they make such a difference for that person.

Look for: "Rose colored FL-41 35%" glasses.

Regarding the detection of flicker, you should be able to determine which screens are more comfortable without testing them with an instrument. After all, some zero PWM screens bother some and some PWM screens allegedly are fine. Or are you out of principle wanting to avoid all PWM because you suspect ALL PWM is harmful to the eyes and/or brain?

Interesting, there are so many variable with what could be bothering a person regarding different screens. I guess it’s a long process of trial and error. Thank you for the reply.
