Windows 11 on eGPU

Anyone here fixed a problematic laptop with an eGPU?

I have one for Windows 11 but still getting eye strain despite a 'safe' gfx card and monitor.

I haven't yet been able to install the Nvidia app and tweak anything as it's locked down but I'm working on that…

Of course, you will get eye strain with Windows 11. Even with "safe" hardware.

Windows 11 uses dithering. If you want to avoid this you have to install early versions of Windows 10.

I am perfectly okay with 21H2. (And I've got VERY sensitive eyes.)

Nevertheless there are others who favour even earlier versions.

But not okay with gtx1060 and z390d motherboard

21H2 is also okay on an AMD laptop with Ryzen 7 Pro 6850U and Radeon Rembrandt graphics.
