Garman I can't say for sure, but one Moto G 2025 owner who tried out a number of higher res LCD devices said the higher res LCD phones usually dither. I just know I seem to be OK with the G55. Remember even most sensitive users aren't sensitive to dithering even if it exists. The visual world in the real world is highly dynamic, and dithering isn't at all as unnatural as PWM. I can say I don't see anything noticeable or obnoxious when analyzing the screen with another phone's camera system.
I say to be absolutely sure you have one of the most comfortable and calming displays, go with the G 2025. It runs really well even with the low specs. If you aren't extremely sensitive then the G55 is almost certainly perfect. I've seen some complaining about the G55, but it's the obsessive types on PWM_Sensitive who really can't use anything. They get these phones and stare at them intently looking for issues like stinging eyes and/or dizziness, and this reinforces their woe is me reality game. A good comedy would be watching one of them unbox a phone and test it for eye strain and/or headaches. Meanwhile the vast majority use Google, Samsung, Apple phones with no apparent issues at all.
Just got this anecdote:
"for some reason the Motorola IPS I purchased a year ago did really bother me which didn't make much sense so it seems that all cell phones bother me."
Exactly as I've supposed. If the Moto IPS phones bother you, almost certainly nothing is going to work.
They state also:
"I have not found any phone that works, so what I do is limit my cell phone time under 1-2 minutes."
