Moto Edge 2024, Moto G 2025, Moto G55

I have side by side these phones. Default display settings, no night light, and natural color profile.

How come the Edge and G55 both have a yellowish hue on the screen while the G 2025 is whiter and clearer? I wasn't expecting the G 2025 to have the best looking screen. Also, it has more contrast when reading fonts on the same website.

For reference, the G 2025 is IPS LCD, G55 is IPS LCD, Edge is pOLED. G 2025 has only 720p while the others are higher res. My eyes feel best with the G 2025 of the three.

It's whatever LEDs were paired with the backlight panel they bought. They have a fixed temperature.

6500K color temperature is not supposed to be arctic white so if you like the colder (higher kelvin) looking white point, then probably you would like other panels that are bluish.

Sunspark But it is easy to change the color temperature of any screen. I can make the bluish G 2025 look more like the others by making it warmer and the others cooler. However, it's interesting there's such a big difference in how they are tuned out of the box.
