Nothing at all to do with the model. It's 100% about the OS settings. I can make a good monitor bad and a bad monitor good.

ensete No, a bad screen is a bad screen. KSP ruined our experience. Software and OS can contribute to the strain, but in my safe Omen 27q no strain in every scenarios.
I use an Android TV box as test.

ensete I disagree with a lot if experience on the matter… Try using some different monitors with the same OS…

Unfortunately there are a lot of factors contributing to causing all those symptoms…

LEDhater Those are good but too expensive and especially the Eink monitors have very reduced performance…

Aquila I think that this Monitor is not an AMVA Monitor, even though it is from the AU Optronics Company. Maybe this is the main reason why it is causing you eye-strain.

Is it possible for someone who has the related experience to write in a comment all the Monitor models released with AMVA technology panel, so that anyone who wishes, will be able to search for them and/or test them?

*Because most of them, maybe even all if them, have unfortunately been discontinued and it is really hard to find them at the moment…

HUGE NEWS FOR EVERYONE:

I just tested a monitor that I have been using for a long time with VGA connection instead of HDMI…
and the eye-strain related symptoms have been reduced by a HUGE amount!!! Maybe even more than 50%!!!
I will keep you updated after testing it for a prolonged period (1 week+)…
Test it as well and write your experience if you want. Thank you…!!!

DVI-I or DVI-D ?

DVI-D is similar to HDMI for FHD 60hz, all connectors are passive (wire cross connection)

simplex My mistake…It is not DVI! Rather it is VGA-15 pins!!

I also have to mention that I am using an old Geforce Kepler Graphic Card with Samsung microchip, which also made a significant difference, even when used with HDMI. However now with the VGA connection, I experience till now another much higher reduction of symptoms (it feels like more than 50%). We will see..
