I never really investigated this path other than occasionally taking an ibuprofen or aspirin here and there.
Did any of you try to go the route of trying out the pills that neurologists usually prescribe to their migraine patients? If yes, how successful or not were you with it?
From what I remember from Googling a couple of years ago, they all have side-effects, are usually not that good at avoiding migraines and even if they make a difference, it seems like they generally take months for you to start noticing (what you might think to be) their effects.
I also once went to a Neurologist, but she was pretty much clueless about what I had, so I never went back..
