you can probably find controller boards for e-ink, but they are likely to be built for signage, and so only support slow refresh rates. As far as I know all the companies that have made fast refresh e-ink screens have made their own controllers (Dasung & Yotaphone made the only commercial product that I know of).

This video won't tell you how to do it, but will give you a bit of background. A word of caution though, have you tried a fast refreshing e-ink device like the dasung before? I was fine with an e-ink ereader, but the yotaphone2 I bought recently nauseates me, I think its the flashing/blinking nature of it. Which is a shame for me atleast, because Yotaphone did a real good job on it, it can play youtube videos smoothly enough!
