I'm with hpst here. There is definitely a tech issue of some sort. Take me for example:
I work long hours at the office at work on a Dell U2410. No problem that anybody else would/wouldn't have (after remembering to take breaks, 20/20/20 rule, etc)
I walk 10 feet over to my colleague's computer with a Dell U2713H and:
Immediate reaction looking at it - Not nice to look at. Feels very bright even at 0% brightness
00:30 of exposure - Not fun, but usually no lingering "LED migraine"
01:00 - 05:00 of exposure - A 3-5 hour "LED migraine"
00:30 of exposure - A 4-day-long "LED migraine" from hell...
These displays are kryptonite to me with symptoms exponentially longer than the exposure time. How could I suddenly have an eye issue occur when at my colleague's desk versus my desk?
I'm also not the same as others here that suspect their issues are with drivers, as they are able to use an LED display with "known-good" drivers. I have found no such "known good" LED displays, so drivers to me are irrelevant in my case. Probably an example of a different person with different triggers 🙂
