Hopefully at some point in the past for all of us, we never had these issues with tech - e.g. we all had a 24/7 comfortable setup to use at home and work.
If that is the case, IMHO, glasses, drops, medication as a way to tolerate modern technology isn't the answer here, however if it is providing relief for people right now then it's of course their choice to use what they want.
We need to take the stance that the technology needs to adapt to OUR needs, not the other way around - after all we are the consumers here - and for some it's their lively-hoods at stake.
The technology companies need to be held into account - if we can't get through to devs for change is legal action the answer?
It might seem a somewhat overblown and far fetched statement, but if we're still at this point in a year's time or longer (W7 being phased out, old tech dying) what happens then?
