Ah, I think I remember you talking about SCT orange glasses before. That is quite an aggressive tint though! If you can get some pretty cool wraps then it might even look kind of neat. Do you have any product recommendations?
I put up one of those Ikea leaves today to block another LED overhead light that is in front of me, but I still had issues with aching eyes and a brain feeling totally fried (as if I crammed for an exam for 10 straight hours without a break or something). Now that I know that the lights are bothering me to some degree, now I'm worried about all the other ones off to the side which are also still technically in my field of view. To block them all would make my desk look like the Amazon Rainforest, haha!
I only moved like 30 feet in the office in I went back again to my old area and there seemed to be quite a few lights that would have been in my field of vision. Why am I having so many more problems here? It makes no sense. This issue doesn't seem to follow any logical patterns.
The issue with wearing any colored overlays is the fact that I already wear glasses as it is (rimless Silhouettes from 2008 that I don't think I'll ever change!) I guess clip-ons wouldn't technically work because they wouldn't filter lights from the corners and up and down. Overfits kinda work, but they make you look pretty darn goofy and bug-eyed. Wearing contacts is usually not the most comfortable for computer work because of dryness (besides, I only have throw-away lenses so that would get hella expensive.

I'm curious what the difference is between fluorescent vs. LED that makes the best color to block it change from rose (FL-41) to orange (SCT). I've tried yellow, green, rose (FL-41), but never orange before. It seemed like the FL-41 made a little bit of difference. I would be curious to see what orange can do.
Here's hoping I'm slowly figuring out my own unique issue. I mean, it's only been about 8 years of frustrating hell...
