  • Anyone have Hisense A6 eInk phone?

Hi, I am writing this to know if the eInk screen provokes eyestrain or dizziness to anyone, as my Hisense A5, which has android 9, it does to me, with or without light. Hisense A6, which have Android 8, may not do it. My actual phone, Hisense A2 Pro (Android 7) works perfectly, but it will be hardware old in one year, and it does not have light.

Of course, the above comments of not having dizziness is talking about the eInk screen.

Does anyone here have it?
Thanks

Hi there I have the hisense a6 with google apps support

it doesn’t cause me headaches or dizziness, but it actually still causes me eye strain even a little bit more than the lcd screen cuz the contrast is so poor from dithering B&W mode it uses to get faster refresh rate, the amount of ghosting further reducing contrast, and the frontlight not being adjustable and being too bright and being blue.

I’m really curious to hear if the screen refresh rate on the a2 pro is much worse than a6 or a5, which may explain why it would use less dithering & have less ghosting?

Can you explain in which situations you have eyestrain? Not talking about the phone now. Want to know about your sensitivity to be able to understand better the two post about this phone you did.

On Hisense A2 pro the refresh rate is very good. You could perfectly watch videos there if it weren't for the dark tone the software gives to it. They probably turn really up the contrast to make everything look better, except for the videos. You can adjust all this parameters on Hisense A6, isn't it?

As you are not happy with the phone... Are you interested in selling it?

a12a12a12 I am very interested in this phone, but didn't buy it due to lack of google play. Would you be able to share details on how to get Google Play on this phone?

NotAlone can I confirm you are experiencing strain with the A5? I use this phone and its perfect so it suproses me to hear that you can't. Very interesting. I can only use of with the light off by the way.
