Everyone is different, but the reality is MVA is a big winner for most people. Here's another anecdote, this time about TN:
"I find quality TN panels to be superior for text than IPS, especially when it comes to eye strain. The TN panel feels like "film", whereas the IPS stuff feels jumpy to me."
The question is, have you personally tried a ViewSonic MVA monitor?
You can order one from Amazon, try it out for 30 days, and if it's not suitable, just print out a return label, and send it back for a full refund. How hard is that?
One man so much likes the ViewSonic VA2452SM he bought eight for his workstation. He claims they are perfect monitors for his needs.
