LED Backlight and something else We still dont know is killing productivity of any creative, from designer to artist, from videoeditor to photographer.
I have tried so many devices, for drawing purpose, that I've lost the count.
Ipad's, Cintiq's, Chinese Tablets, Monitors, Laptops, Smartphones and many other devices...
I would like to keep drawing digitally because it is my life!
The only way I can do it for 30/40 minute and still getting hard headhace and eyestrain, dizziness, it is with an Ipad Pro or a LED Backlight monitor (wled) with DC dimming (still didnt tried anything with CCFL Backlight) + Wacom Intuos Tablet.
I do wear Zeiss Duravision Blueprotect Glasses and they help a bit, but my problem is different. Any light disturb me. And they are all LED.
I think that also having an higher refresh rate like 240hz and more would help with motion!
Whats your advice guys? I would like to start with buying a monitor, I was looking for a CCFL, DC Dimmed, 8 BIT (no FRC), HIGH Refresh Rate, Monitor to draw with my intuos tablet. Where could i start?
I found out a Dell 2209wa to be CCFL 6 u-lamp direct backlighting, it is a 8bit, E-IPS. Specs Sheet Below
