Hi, All. Very pleased to find this community. I'm curious whether anyone's experience is similar to mine.
For the better part of 15 years, I've been working on a computer full time. I'm 40 now. When I was 25, I started getting massive headaches that I couldn't get rid of, started seeing double and essentially couldn't look at a screen. At the time, 2006, a neurologist was seriously concerned about an aneurysm or any number of other things. Saw a lot of doctors and, in the end, the diagnosis was Talosa Hunt syndrome only because the symptoms were consistent but the actual evidence was never seen in MRI's.
As i've lived with this for years now, I've come to understand that it is more than likely related to eye strain...maybe that wasn't something Doctors understood back then. I've taken some measures to avoid the discomfort and it works for a year or maybe two. At some point though, the muscles around my eye sockets start to hurt/burn, the muscles in my forehead and even over the back of my head start to feel the same. Does that happen to anyone?
Have you found a way to recover from that? I just took 10 days off of work and the pain started back up as soon as I returned this week. If you've had any success digging out of this hole, i'd appreciate the recommendations. Prednisone was prescribed when they thought it was Talosa Hunt Syndrome, but I am not sure if that was ever a factor in the recovery.
Thanks.
